I’ve taken writing past the point of being just a hobby, and intertwined it with the job I was built to do everyday: teach kids. It’s time to share!
The benefit of inviting a working teacher consultant to your school district is a no-brainer. I know what works and what doesn’t because I’m doing it, working the bugs out on a daily basis. Delivering personal teaching and writing experiences is very important, plus the buzz to back it up. Fletcher, Lane, Caulkins, Graves... I can go on forever. I’ve read the books: completed my homework, so to speak. There’s a lot of great stuff out there, not to mention a few original little ditties thrown in by yours truly.
If you read the rest of this site, you probably have a pretty good idea of what I value. And that’s exactly what I’ll bring to you.

Writing workshops are tailored to the needs of your teachers.

workshops can range from an overview of the WW (beginning level intro) to an in depth look at a certain area. for example: you can order a whole day workshop on revision and writing process. or, a half day just on “voice.” just think of it as stepping up to a buffet.
I am a full time teacher, so summer is the best time to book me. However, if we can synch our schedules, booking during the school year might be possible.
