The Camp

The Campers We traveled far in a week, but the writing and thinking never really ends. I tell my students that ideas come from everywhere and nowhere. Famous author, Tom Romano, preaches that if you develop a writing state of mind, you need not to worry about finding topics on which to write. So true. As long as you have something to write about, everything else will follow. Your voice, skill, and craft will only get better, as long as you keep on truckin’. Maureen Rullo is a first grade teacher at Green-Fields Elementary School. She lives with her husband Jim and her two daughters, Molly (3) and Meg (1). She was born and raised in the state of Massachusetts. Besides teaching, Maureen loves to play basketball and was a member of the Drexel University Women’s Basketball team. Her favorite part of the school day is Writers’ Workshop and reading time. She enjoys having her summers off and loves going to the beach or hanging by the pool with her friends and family.
Gaetan Pappalardo likes sneakers, golf, and music. He is trying to decorate the entire inside roof of his car with buttons. Any kind of button will do. His newest button reads, “I love Tacos.” He is presently taking button donations. Gaetan loves eating meals with his family and making maple syrup.
